  • Prof. Gui-Song Xia, receieved his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree from Wuhan University in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and got a Ph.D. degree with speciality in Signal and Images from Telecom ParisTech in March 2011. Since April 2011, he had worked as a postdoctoral researcher at CNRS ( LTCI and CEREMADE) for about 1.5 years. In December 2012, he joined State Key Lab. LIESMARS, Wuhan University. His current research concentrates on mathematical modeling of images, computer vision, pattern recognition and their applications in remote sensing imaging. On those topics, he has co-/authored more than 110 articles on international journals/conferences, such as IEEE Trans. on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI) , International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV) , IEEE Trans. on Image Processing (TIP) , SIAM Journal on Imaging Science (SIIMS) , Pattern Recognition (PR) , IEEE Trans. on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (TGRS) , CVPR, ECCV, BMVC, ICIP and ICPR. He serves currently as Associate Editors of Pattern Recognition, EURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing and Signal Processing: Image Communications , and Guest Editor of IEEE Trans. on Big Data , Pattern Recognition Letter, Geo-Spatial Information Science, etc. He is a senior member of IEEE.

  • Prof. Wen Yang, receieved his B.Eng., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from Wuhan University in 1998, 2001 and 2004 respectively. He was a visiting scholar at Laboratoire Jean Kuntzmann, a laboratory of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in French. He is currently a professor in Electronic Information School, Wuhan University. His research interests include remote sensing image processing and analysis and computer vision. He has co-/authored more than 100 articles on relevant international journals/conferences, such as IEEE Trans. on Image Processing (TIP) , IEEE Trans. on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (TGRS) , IGARSS, EUSAR, ICIP and ICPR.

    Prof. Ling Lei, received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree from Central China Normal University (CCNU) in 2001 and 2004 respectively, and Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University in 2007. She was a visiting scholar at Temple University. She is currently working as an Associate Professor with the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Wuhan University. Her research interests include the theory of optimal control of partial differential equations and the inverse problems of differential equations.

    Prof. Nan Xue, received her B.Sc. and Ph.D degree from Wuhan University in 2016 and 2020 respectively. He was a visiting scholar at NC State University. Since June 2020, he has been working as a Distinguished Associate Researcher in School of Computer Science, Wuhan University. His research interests include line segment detection and its applications in 3D computer vision.
